Our Story
Cultivate was founded by Glaze Martillano and Jazmine Parris, two People & Talent leaders who’ve spent their careers helping companies, from bootstrapped startups to Fortune 500s, build teams that actually work.
Along the way, they saw the same problem again and again: founders and leaders were spending too much time hiring, losing momentum, and struggling to find the talent that truly drives impact.
What started as a passion for crafting exceptional recruiting and people solutions evolved into a clear mission: to help startups cultivate the teams that drive culture, innovation, and scalable growth.

Glaze Martillano
Co-Founder
Before co-founding Cultivate, Glaze spent over 15 years in talent acquisition at places like Meta and fintech and B2B tech startups. In those roles, she recruited AI and machine learning engineers before “AI” became the buzzword it is today. The teams she helped build went on to deliver products that scaled rapidly and drove meaningful impact.
Glaze has put a lot of focus into helping companies find success by fostering a culture that tolerates nothing but excellence in hiring. She's been an operator first, which shapes how she works with her founders: hands-on, pragmatic, and focused on results.
Jazmine Parris
Co-Founder
Jazmine builds hiring systems for teams that can’t afford sloppy decisions . She built her career at the intersection of psychology and people operations, blending creative insight with behavioural science to get clearer on what drives performance, alignment, and retention.
She’s supported founders and People teams worldwide, helping them make early, business-critical hires at all levels - from leaders to seasoned operators. She excels at repairing broken hiring loops and tightening how companies define roles, assess talent, and tell their company story to candidates. From three-person startups to hyper-growth companies, Jazmine is known for her strong judgment, structured process, and a discerning eye for creative talent.
